The 'consensus' on climate change is a catastrophe in itself

As the estimated cost of measures proposed by politicians to "combat global warming" soars ever higher – such as the International Energy Council's $45 trillion – "fighting climate change" has become the single most expensive item on the world's political agenda.

There is not a consensus. The media has simply brainwashed enough people that politicians are supporting climate change for electability.

Good article. Climate change projects should be paid for by taxing only the idiots that believe this junk science. Let the believers put their money where there mouth is, and not mine. Heck, if they are so sure of their disaster scenarios, you would think that they would be donating at least half of their income to fix the perceived problem. Of course they don't!

Using other peoples money to accomplish their infinite wisdom is the way of the elitist.

I dont think there is anything anybody can do about climate change. The way i understand it is it will happen and has always happened in the past. even if humans were not here it would still happen. its a natural occurence.

The way i understand it is it will happen and has always happened in the past. even if humans were not here it would still happen. its a natural occurence. You are correct. The amount of greenhouse gases that humans add to the mix is so small as to be irrelevant. If a long-term global warming is happening, we can't stop or slow it by reducing emissions. If it is possible to stop, it will take a currently non-existent technology in order to have any impact. Meanwhile, we will be wasting our money and other resources implementing politically correct strategies that are ineffective, leaving us all to burn up under intese heat, drown in raging floods, and starve from lack of food according to the advocates of this lunacy.

You would think that if people actually buy this crap, that they would at least look for a scientifically sound resolution. Of course my logic is flawed, because it presumes that their current position is based on sound science and not the noise from the radical greenines and the scientists receiving huge amounts of grant (hush) money to provide politically correct studies.

What one has to realize is that "A Consensus" isn't science, therefore it has no validity

You are absolutely correct! It is such crap! The models that they use are full of incorrect assumptions, bad data, and incorrect analysis.
