Jaffar Karim, head of PUK Intellect and Awareness Bureau, paid a visit to China and met with the President of that country Hu Jintao.
The Chinese President appreciated the position of the Kurds in succeeding political process in the new Iraq, while he stressed the importance of strengthening relations between China and Kurdistan region, in general and the PUK in particular.
The PUK official briefed the Chinese President on the latest developments in Iraq and the Kurdistan region.
