Opinion poll conducted in the Kurdistan region of Iraq that 52 percent believed that the National Council for the Kurdistan region but is not represented by political parties, while 78 percent said they did not know any of the NPC deputies.

The status of Kurdistan, the political issues of specialized public-opinion polls conducted last July poll included 840 people from the territory three provinces of Arbil, Sulaymaniyah and Dohuk.

Center has put 25 questions to the participants about their views of the political process in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, and their participation in the previous parliamentary elections and their desire to participate in the forthcoming elections.

The poll, whose results were released this week, that 55 percent expressed a desire to participate in the forthcoming parliamentary elections, and 46 percent declared their refusal to participate, with the proportion of participants in previous elections 77 percent.

The large number of participants in the survey lack of confidence in parliament, effectively, asked for 62 percent of them participate in the reduction of the age of 25 years in Parliament at the next session.
