Concerned About the Lost Dinars from Aug 24/25

I have read all the messages with regard to the DHL issues and the lost Dinars and I am still concerned and here's why...

I made my purchase on Aug 24th and received the (DHL) tracking number from Amer. I tracked my package up until Aug 26th and then the package stalled for three days. I am one of those that have lost their shipment.

According to Amer, I should have received the USPS shipping (tracking) number quickly after the stall of my shipment, however, I have NOT.

My credit card will be charged at midnight tonight (Aug. 31) and I still have no USPS shipping number and no DINAR!!!

Please ADVISE.

Just Private Message or email Amer first to discuss it with him directly, and then if you don't hear from him within 36 hours, then start a thread about it. That would probably work best.

I wish you luck in getting your dinars. I have made one purchase through Amer and it went well. DHL also did a great job in tracking and shipping. I don't know if this was your first purchase from Amer. My point of telling you my experince is that what happened to you is not the norm.
I hope you get your dinars and please keep us posted.

DHL has been having problems with lost or stolen shipments latletly, before that it was Fed Ex who had the same problems. Now Most ARE shipping with USPS until something happens with them, I guess.
Save the headaches and buy from a USA shipper.
Though some would disagree because the prices are higher.
But lose it all or a pay a little more for the security is all it really boils down to. I do not endorse any US shipper vs the other.
It is not allowwed on the forum- Amer is the only shipper allowed to be promoted. But, if the importing hassles are to much , I would look to the USA shipper option. JMHO

Try and check your tracking number using DHL USA h**p://track.dhl-usa.com/trackbynbr.asp.

When I used the DHL World tracking site mine showed it was in London for 3 days, but it showed up at my door the next day.

Seems DHL tracking gets a little wacky here and there.

Same thing happend to me... I thought my DHL shipment was still in London when they suddenly arrived at my door.

mine showed that it has been in London since the 19th... and still no package at the door. I would say that is a problem. I have worked with DHL before, and understand their crappy tracking... but this incident is something else

The DHL tracking number is #*** and the order number is #***. This order was placed on August 24/25. The order was shipped on August 25th from Jordan and was received in Bahrain on August the 26th. I phoned DHL and they have been trying to locate the package since the 27th. Please respond with some positive news or a solution. :mad:

Your shipment is one of the 27 that are stolen and we are working with DHL in order for them to replace this theft from their side.
Please keep any future communication through private email.

Also, please forward me the email I said that it would be solved if you post a new thread on the forum and to make it public, as I cannot find any emails between us.

Resolved problems would be good to post to the forum, but "work in progress" types are not. It tends to make the forum look like a bunch of email boxes. PM is the best way to communicate and then post a thread with problem-solution info. It also tends to get people a bit rattled.
