What does this have to do with believing or not believing in the ISX? I am quite happy sticking with proxy until such a time that Warka bank advises me otherwise. :wait:

No point in having the stock in your name we need electronic trading.

It just makes this entire investment seem somewhat more real to me. Be the way I haven't bought any stocks in over a year. Some people thought we were being stupid not having anything in our name, "spreadsheets" so for whatever its worth I feel a little better about this whole deal. Do you get my drift there Beluga, I hope so. It seems like they are playing be the rules,:happy64: Yes I am happy

Yes I do know where you're coming from :handshake: this gives you more confidence in the ISX and warka, I guess it all depends why you bought in the first place - did you buy to hold long-term or short-term, myself I bought for short-term (proxy) to keep my option of selling quickly if I chose to.

And to tell you the truth its engulfed my whole life, it became my freaking hobby, is that sad or what ? I also bought a boat load of the money. Everyone I try to turn on to this dinar thing thinks I am retarded. I know one thing you won't see electronic trading for us for a long time. This stock will be for the long run. I am sure Warka will come up with some plan to keep our certificates on file and still be able to trade in the future. Hey who knows maybe it will be the best way to go to have the certificates down the road. Just trying to cover all bases here. :bandit:

All IMO
If people have the money to gamble on both the currency and the ISX then by all means go for it. Either way, each is a gamble no question. With cash, you at least know that you have physical ownership over your investment and whether it does a 3X increase, lops or an RV, you got it in your hands to deal with.
No one knows what will happen to shares. They could reverse split, double, triple or even tank. The stock market is very volitile and its risky at the best of times. The idea of buy in low and ride out the current affairs sounds great but its still a gamble.
I have decided not to invest in the ISX. I think its just to risky to honestly be able to put money in. Sometimes, I think about it and it would nice to cover all my bases but really, I think the ISX is about two years behind cash when it comes to security. If cash lops, the ISX will reverse split. If cash does an RV then we just don't know what the ISX will do...it could make huge profits or go bust. I think the IIF has as many RV dreamers as ISX dreamers. I would rather be apart of the RV dreamers group then the ISX anyday. At least I know at the end of the day, I am holding my investment.
I truly hope the ISX makes every share holder a fortune. I have gotten to know many and even those I don't, I wouldn't wish ill-fortune on. But at the same time, with a simple cost/risk analysis, at least for now, the ISX is just way to risky.
