Well I don't have to worry about placing a thousand trades a week. lol I have scalped, but don't make a habit of it. As usual, you are a wealth of information. I too have been bombarded in my personal life and tend to forget what I've learned so I have to go back and refresh. You know the saying, "use it or loose it". How did you know that article was from 2006? Somehow I missed that. Had set up my MA for PRS and noticed right off that I feel the alligator was a better indicator, but IBFX had an auto system to alert me for PRS. I wish I could be a fly on your wall. I need all of the short cuts I can get. I was hoping to go live before the end of the year. Yes, I am staying with IBFX for now. So far I am quite impressed with them. I'm closing my InterbankFX account as of TODAY.

At approximately 1:55 p.m. EST I moved my stop losses on 4 long NZD/JPY trades on my live account from 78.50 (all positions) to 78.80/81 when the market had just pierced through the 79.00 zone.

At exactly 1:59 (a few minutes later) I watched my chart plummet from just above 79.00 down to 78.79.

How obvious can we get?

I went to IBFX's online chat and spoke with Darryl, who admitted that the low bid price for that particular 1 hour bar was 78.88. (Read chat transcript, below)

I requested an explanation for why my stops were taken out, and after much waiting and "pulling charts", etc. Darryl "explained" that even though on the recorded accounting statement the trade was stopped out @ 1:59 hrs, the bars were actually "overlapping"... puh-leze!

I pulled charts from two other online charting services, neither of them showed a price anywhere near 78.79 for that hour bar.

I believe that contrary to IBFX's claims otherwise, that they do indeed have a dealing desk, and they target rare pairs to take out stoplosses...and it makes a nice excuse for them that the stops are taken out right at the last minute of the hour.

If someone can produce some evidence that NZDJPY was near that price at that time, I'll gladly recant this post, but in the transcript below you have the evidence right out of their own mouths.

Hi AAD, Hope all is well with you. Checked out the T101 Indicator Development and it was waaay over my head. The "T101 rules made easy" didn't look to complicated, but I was a bit confused because I thought that you only traded the EUR,GBP and sometimes JPY? This method is for trading baskets, correct? I will check out the "simple trading method with Trader T101" next. I think I have already learned as much as my brain can handle with everything else that's going on. I see that you had traded international stock so you have much more experience. I can't thank you enough for sharing the IBFX site. I have learned a ton.

It also looks like the Iraq Forum members agree that we will be waiting another two years for any RV if at all if Obama gets elected. Could you pm me if you get any time and share your thoughts regarding my comments. I'm particularly curious if there is any info on success rates of the T101? Since I have learned the FIB tools, MA's and PRS strategies, I'm wandering if I should start with what I know instead of going on overlead? The only problem is that the IBFX won't let me use the PRS for GBP/USD and EUR/USD pairs without a live account. Blessings/d

Hi AAD, My browser was down for a couple of days so I guess I missed all the hype over the reval. lol If only.....Only using the MA as a confirmation tool. Had 100mph winds at my house and had to do damage control before the big snow dump. I'm back inside and will get back in the learning curve in the next couple of days. Saw that YEN, but didn't like the spread when I was checking it out - Yikes Not gutsy enough to play with that yet, but definately looked like a fun ride!!! Saved all the links to favorites and appreciate you as always!!! D

IB's and Pin Bar formations? Yikes, behind the learning curve again. Just got back from Seattle Children's Hospital again last night, so I still have much to do! The MA I've been using is called the alligator instead of the "simple". It seem to be dead on for tracking movement. I don't use it for trading, only for a confirmation tool for the FIB. First trade I made with this method gave me 80 pips in less then 30 min. I'm going slow and steady and trying to learn from the best. Are you still trading? Seems the waters are shark invested, but haven't looked in about 3 days? Cudos/Diane

Hi Angel, Quick question, IBFX keeps sending me offers for free software for a chart pattern recognition tool. I've heard by you and others not to trust auto trading sysytems. I realize that this doesn't enter a trade for you, but simply notifies you if a pattern is recognized. IYO, is it best to stay away from these tools? Still devouring material and getting smarter everyday Also, I was using the fib retracement tool and finally figured that I needed the regular fib tool, hence the name "retracment" duh! Loving the software they provide. It blows the one I was using away and they were going to charge me $4,500 as their special offer, (regular price $7,500). Glad I followed my gut and sent it back while in the free trial period. Hope all is well!!! Diane
