UNAMI: United Nations continues to assist Iraq and Kuwait to address the outstanding issues

The United Nations Assistance Mission in Iraq continues to provide support for the Iraq and Kuwait to address a number of outstanding issues between the two countries.

He said the Special Representative of the UN Skrteram in Iraq, Staffan de Mistura, during an open meeting of the UN Security Council to discuss the situation in Iraq, the UN Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) is still continuing to provide support for the Iraq and Kuwait to address a number of outstanding issues caused by the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait in 1990.
