Secretary Tillerson Arrives In China – Flight Time Interview…

Posted on March 18, 2017 by sundance
Last Thursday Secretary T-Rex was in Japan (below left); Friday he was in South Korea (below right); tonight (tomorrow local) Secretary Tillerson will arrive in China.

During a flight between nations, Secretary Tillerson gave an interview to IJR reporter Erin McPike. A full audio file has been provided
CLICK HERE (will open in separate window) The interview is almost 30 minutes in duration and takes place aboard the flight.
In addition, IJR has posted a transcript of the interview which is AVAILABLE HERE.

I would again strongly urge everyone to ignore the media presentations of the comments from Secretary Tillerson, and instead go directly to the unfiltered source material.
    The
Audio Interview is very interesting. Understandably, with the full content available, the DC media and their Deep State partnerships are frustrated and angry about their inability to manipulate the Tillerson narrative.

    Thats funny!
    Cheeto face comb over.
The problem is MTBE and Bultn are suffering from two syndromes. One is the realization that any hope that the dinar or its revaluation will make them rich beyond measure was a dream that is turning into a nightmare. Two is Trump has become President and any liberal entitlements that they are sucking off the American taxpayer are also in Jeopardy.
Whats sad is I bet their anger and yelling has also effected the loved ones around them. MTBE quit yelling at your wife for goodness sakes man wake up!
Adoption is a reason to be Thankful.

FBI Director James Comey confirms investigation of potential Trump-Russia ties

FBI Director James Comey confirmed that bureau investigators were looking into whether Donald Trump’s presidential campaign colluded with Moscow during the 2016 election.

The FBI chief made the disclosure in his opening statement Monday morning before the House Intelligence Committee, which is looking into Russian interference in the election, leaks of classified information and charges by the president that his campaign was wiretapped by President Barack Obama. Comey noted that the FBI customarily does not confirm ongoing investigations — especially those concerning classified matters — but it may be appropriate to do that, as the Justice Department (DOJ) recognizes, if it is in the public’s interest.

“I have been authorized by the Department of Justice to confirm that the FBI, as part of our counterintelligence mission, is investigating the Russian government’s efforts to interfere in the 2016 presidential election,” he said. “And that includes investigating the nature of any links between any individuals associated with the Trump campaign and the Russian government, and whether there was any coordination between the campaign and Russia’s efforts.”

The probe will also look into whether any crimes were committed.

Comey noted that the FBI had already taken the “extraordinary step” — at the request of congressional leaders — of briefing members of Congress, including leaders of the committee, on the investigation in detail. He said that he could not elaborate further on the nature of the probe because it is ongoing and classified, acknowledging that this may be frustrating to some.

“The FBI is very careful in how we handle information about our cases and about the people we are investigating,” he continued. “We are also very careful about the way we handle information that may be of interest to our foreign adversaries. Both of those interests are at issue in a counterintelligence investigation.”

Comey urged the committee not to draw unfounded conclusions from the fact that he may not be able to comment on particular topics. He said that the FBI and the DOJ have provided more thorough information during past testimonies but that these regarded completed investigations — a key difference.

“I know speculating is part of human nature, but it really isn’t fair to draw conclusions simply because I say that I can’t comment,” he said.
According to Comey, the FBI needs to exercise great caution so it does not compromise the privacy of any individuals involved, inadvertently divulge clues about where it is going or tip off foreign adversaries about its actions. He could not provide a timetable for when the investigation would be completed but promised it would be conducted in a open-minded and independent manner.

US at war with North Korea? Trump rhetoric is nothing new but raises Armageddon stakes

John Pilger tells IBTimes UK that system which created Trump must be opposed.

Most US presidents have resisted the lure of waging a war with the pariah state of North Korea, but under Donald Trump that threat is becoming an ever-likelier possibility.

The business mogul-turned-president is known for his vitriolic rhetoric and trigger-happy Twitter assaults, but will North Korean provocations be enough to set him off to authorise an attack?

The early signs are not promising. Less than two months into his administration, Trump's Secretary of State Rex Tillerson declared that a pre-emptive strike is "an option on the table" and that any threat to South Korea or US troops would be met with "an appropriate response".

Such language is not new. In 2014, while on a visit to South Korea, then president Barack Obama proclaimed a similar statement of intent.

"We don't use our military might to impose these things on others, but we will not hesitate to use our military might to defend our allies and our way of life," he said at the Yongsan Garrison military base, the HQ of the US military in South Korea.

But Trump has demonstrated a much more cavalier attitude than the man who came before him.

Long-time war journalist and foreign policy commentator John Pilger told IBTimes UK: "Trump's twin distinctions are that he is a cartoon version of his predecessors and slightly unpredictable ... and that the US has no international language these days other than that of warmongering."

A pre-emptive strike brings with it the very likely escalation into all-out war, observers have warned.

Max Fisher, of the New York Times, writes: "North Korea knows it would probably lose any war. Should one occur, its plans call for a full-scale, last-ditch retaliation to stop the Americans in their tracks.

"This strategy, borne of desperation, creates a risk that has long chastened American war planners: that North Korea would perceive even a limited strike as the start of a war and respond with its full arsenal."

He adds: "A full war, entered deliberately or accidentally, would risk terrible costs."

That war would not only involve Kim Jong-un's rogue state but would undoubtedly draw in China because it would lose the physical buffer between itself and US troops, a risk it would not be willing to take.

THIS THING, THIS PUPPET CALLED DONALDOF TRUMPLER IS SO STUPID AND ARROGANT THAT I WILL NOT DOUBT THAT HE WILL RESTART THE KOREAN CONFLICT ALL OVER AGAIN JUST TO DIVERT THE ATTENTION OF HIS IMPLICATIONS WITH HIS MASTER GRAND PUTIN AND HIS DONALDOF'S MOTHERLAND RUSSIA. THIS DANGEROUS MAN WILL COST AMERICA SO MANY LIVES AND IF THAT DOES HAPPEN....I WILL COME BACK AND I WILL WRITE "
    I TOLD YOU" ENDLESSLY.

Neil deGrasse Tyson: Trump's budget will make Americans stupid, weak and sick

Popular scientist slams proposals to cut funding for education, science, and the environment.

President Donald Trump's budget proposals revealed last Thursday (16 March) will make Americans stupid, weak and sick if enacted as is, according to prominent American astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson.

In a series of tweets on Sunday the scientist, famous for hosting shows like 2014's Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey, weighed in on the Trump administration's policies after he said that he would hold off criticism until Trump began challenging America's scientists.

"I will act when they actually try to put legislation into place," deGrasse Tyson told The Late Show host Stephen Colbert on 15 March. Many concrete policies hadn't yet emerged from the Trump administration, he said, "lately people are just talking".

The day after the interview, however, Trump's $1.5tr (937bn) budget proposals emerged with large cuts to the arts, science, the environment, education and other departments. The cuts are being made to fund $54bn for the military and law enforcement.

The budget proposes doing away with former President Barack Obama's Clean Power Plan to tighten regulations on climate change-producing carbon emissions, and to cut 50 programmes and 3,200 employees from the Environmental Protection Agency, which ensures Americans have clean air and water.

The proposals also eliminate $5.8bn from the National Institutes of Health, which carries out biomedical and health research. It also slashes $9.2bn from the Department of Education for teacher training, funding for summer- and after-school programs and aid for about 1.6 million needy low-income undergraduate college and university students.

Trump also proposed to eliminate funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which largely funds PBS, where deGrasse Tyson hosted the show NOVA ScienceNow from 2006 to 2011.

"The fastest way to Make a America Weak Again: Cut science funds to our agencies that support it," deGrasse Tyson said in the first of a series of tweets criticising elements of Trump's budget proposals.

"The fastest way to Make America Stupid: Cut funds to programs that support education," he wrote. "We all want to Make America Great Again," deGrasse Tyson said, echoing Trump's campaign slogan, "but that won't happen until we first Make America Smart Again."
