    Central Bank warns Warka filtering if the non-payment of 200 billion dinars

    The Central Bank of Iraq


    "The gate" Baghdad-Iraqi statement said the Central Bank's information Office said Monday that "the Central Bank said the payment deadline agreed to deposit {200} billion dinars ending today as mourning agreed at the eleventh month and reversed, the Bank will take the necessary action to filter".

    The Central Bank called the Warka bank financial possibilities available for the Bank to resolve the problem since March last year and discuss the options of the KPMG accounting and its representatives and provide the financial means available which demonstrate the ability of Warka Bank to solve the problem in a serious and decisive to be reinforced by official documents.

    The Central Bank decided in early March put his tutelage at Warka Bank due to the deterioration of the financial policy, Ward came to rescue him, according to the Central Bank.

    According to the Central Bank that article 59 of the law allow him develop trust banks and is a set of an interim administration for any bank when financial problems.

    With article 66 of the code of the Bank to the guardian after being appointed by the Central Bank could seek through the Central Bank at the request of the Minister of Finance's decision to rescue the Bank if it finds that there is a possibility to save him.

    Well today is Al-Warka's Judgement day,if Saad bunnia steps up with the funds needed to save the bank then i will continue to add funds to my account,and if it goes under i think we will be given time to transfer ower savings and porfolio to other bank,hope the last option is not used.Good Luck To all Al-Warka investors today.

    *He said the Iraqi Trade Ministry owes $250 million to the bank but has failed to return the money because of the changes in the leadership of the ministry.

    *Iraqi minister of finance has agreed to give a loan of around $64 million to the bank

    *Mohammed said following the government’s decision, the Iraqi Public Vehicle Company withdrew around $680 million from the bank. He added that later citizens withdrew around $1 billion as well.

    The order to cease all dealings was in 2010 wasn't it? It doesn't look like Warka paid attention to the cease & desist.

    I think Iraq is still on holiday till Mon.Jan.7th so i do not expect much till then,also the CBI will be studying Saad Bunnia's offer put forward to see if it is accepable.
