    Trad Bank of Iraq open to ALL

    stressed , Director General Faisal Alheims that the bank offers banking services for all Iraqis without exception , noting that Iraqi bank founder instructions and regulations of the Central Bank of Iraq . He said Alheims for "All News" recently that the Iraqi bank is a bank for all Iraqis without exception and provides services to press and trade institutions and the private and public sectors , or mixed , adding Alheims that Iraqis , whether they are ordinary citizens or merchants have the right to support any Iraqi bank , stressing Alheims that if he asked citizens lending from the bank and according to the conditions required installed by theinstitution and the instructions of the Central Bank , it It meets immediately and distract him ,according to the loan application or as agreed with the management of the bank.

    To all who have been here for years, this is serious news! In the old days, the TBI was comprised of the some of the largest banks in the world, including Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, and only provided letters of credit to major businesses. Now all Iraqis can utilize their services.

    Trade Bank of Iraq’s correspondent relationships include: J.P. Morgan and Citibank among others. Bank of Baghdad reports having correspondent relationships with Citibank New York, JP Morgan Chase, and Standard Chartered Bank.

    International banks with branches open in Iraq include UK-based Standard Chartered Bank, Bahrain-based Arab Bank Corp, Lebanese Bank of Beirut and the Arab Countries (BBAC), and Turkey-based T.C. Ziraat Bank, Is Bank, and Vakif Bank. International banks with branches in Iraq and the U.S. include: Arab Bank Corp, T.C. Ziraat Bank, and Vakif Bank. Is Bank, has a branch office in the United Kingdom. These branches may be able to help U.S. firms facilitate transactions with Iraq.

    Private sector Iraqi banks that have partial foreign ownership are more likely to offer international electronic payment options and have international correspondent relationships. Iraq’s National Investment Commission provides a list of Iraqi banks with foreign ownership, electronic payment capabilities and Visa and MasterCard services.
