Baghdad (AIN) –Member of the Kurdistani Alliance, Sharif Suleiman, described "Transferring the trial of the wanted Vice-President, Tariq al-Hashimi, to another province as the best solution for the current crisis."
Speaking to All Iraqi News Agency (AIN), he said "The KA is not involved in Hashimi's case which is merely judicial as we respect the judicial decisions," noting that "We wish that there are no political aims behind Hashimi's case."
Earlier, the investigation committee formed by the Supreme Judicial Council issued an arrest warrant against the Vice-President Tariq al-Hashimi and forbid him from traveling outside Iraq for accusations over conducting terrorist acts.
Hashimi rejected to submit himself to the court, calling to transfer his case to the courts in Kurdistan Region.
