Najafi, and U.S. ambassador discuss developments in the Iraqi political scene
BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The Search House Speaker Osama Najafi, Thursday, with the U.S. ambassador in Baghdad James Jeffrey, the bilateral relations between the two countries and the developments of the political scene in the Iraqi arena and the latest developments in a national meeting.
A statement by the Office of the President of the House of Representatives, received Agency (Voices of Iraq) that Najafi, "received in his office Thursday morning, James Jeffrey, U.S. ambassador in Baghdad, and together they reviewed the future of bilateral relations between the two countries."
The statement added that the two sides "reviewed the developments of the political scene in the Iraqi arena and the latest developments in the national meeting was held, as addressed in the overall results of their research of the Arab summit in Baghdad and their impact on the situation in Iraq at the Arab and regional levels."
