Iraq begins with receipt of package Boeing year-end

Baghdad, 12 April (aknews) – the Iraqi Transport Ministry said Thursday it would start receiving Boeing 738, 787 tayan year-end with confirmed that Iraqi Airways began to train a cadre of business aircraft.

The Iraqi Government earlier had signed contracts worth $5.9 billion with the US company Boeing for the purchase of 50 Canadian webombarder aircraft.
Adviser to Minister of transport Karim Nuri news agency of Kurdistan (aknews) that "the Ministry of transport will in December next deal Boeing agreed to purchase up to 40 aircraft.
Nuri said that "preparations are underway for the purpose of creating the framework which will serve aboard these aircraft", stating that "Iraq held large and sophisticated air fleet."
Iraqi Airways is one of the oldest airlines in the Middle East, a member of the Arab Union for air transport.
Baghdad announced last month an agreement with Kuwait to resolve debts due to the Gulf war, Iraqi Airways barred from flying to the West.
Agreement to pay $300 million in cash to Kuwait and $200 million to establish a common airlines.
Iraqi Airways theme is part of the long-term conflict between Iraq and Kuwait on the billions of dollars in compensation for Iraq's invasion of the late Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein to Kuwait in 1990-1991.
The Iraqi Government agreement comes with Kuwait on the sidelines of a visit by Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki at the head of a ministerial delegation to establish timetables for resolving outstanding issues which are preventing the exit of money item VII Iraq.
