قال البنك المركزي العراقي أن كل صفر في العملة العراقية يمثل مرحلة في تدمير الاقتصاد العراقي، وان إزالة الأصفار من العملة واجب وطني.

وقال نائب محافظ البنك، مظهر محمد صالح، في تصريح صحفي أمس، إن إعادة هيبة العملة العراقية إلى ما كانت عليه قبل الحرب العراقية الإيرانية واجب وطني، يتحتم علينا تلبيته من خلال تنفيذ مشروع حذف الأصفار.

وجدد صالح دعوته إلى تشكيل لجنة وتشريع قانون خاص بشأن تبعات ومتطلبات تغيير العملة، على أن تكون اللجنة من الجهات المختصة، كديوان الرقابة المالية، ولجان برلمانية، واتحاد المحاسبين، إضافة إلى منظمات المجتمع المدني، وغيرها، لتقرير مصير المشروع.
