Iraqi efforts to join the World Trade Organization

From the Iraqi Government to resume its negotiations to join the WTO in the coming months, in order to move the economy and support of the private sector in the country.
Says Director of the WTO Trade Ministry Tharwat Akram to "Radio Sawa" that Iraq needs to adopt new legislation, allow the transition to a market economy to complete accession files.
Helps global organizations headed by the International Agency for development of the United States (IE aliwas) Iraq's accession to the WTO.
As Director of international trade shows in the US Agency that Brian Clancy, Iraq's accession to the WTO will allow the country to enter into global markets and the introduction of industrial technology and the private sector will be the main beneficiaries.
Iraq had applied to join the World Trade Organization in 2004 and is running as an observer member, and held a number of rounds of negotiations with the Organization for the purpose of completing the accession arrangements but the tour stop since 2008 hoping to resume this year.



The "seed" of Democracy has been planted, we'll see how well it grows in the sand.
