US delegation visits Kurdistan government's Ministry of Finance

ERBIL, July 4 (AKnews) – A US chamber of commerce delegation has visited the Kurdistan Region's Ministry of Finance and Economy.

The delegation, which included vice president of US commerce affairs for the Middle East and North Africa Lionel Johnson and director of Iraq affairs in the US chamber Steven Lyons, met with Minster Bayiz Talabani.
Both sides discussed how to improve US-Kurdish relations, according to a statement from the ministry.
The visitors talked about ways to convince US companies and banks to invest in the region.
The minister mentioned that the government is working on 400 projects this year.
The minister promised to facilitate work opportunities for US investors who want to invest in the region.
