Baghdad/ NINA /-- Thousands of Followers of Cleric Mohammed al-Hassan Sarkhi demonstrated in different areas of Baghdad the capital and in several other provinces today denouncing what they described as "security breaches that affect the Iraqi people.
A spokesman for the Office of Sarkhi said in a statement to NINA : "The thousands of Sarkhi followers demonstrated today in Sholah , Shaab , Sadr City, Baya and other areas of the capital, Baghdad, expressing their dissatisfaction with the security breaches that affect the Iraqi people between every now and then.
He added: " Sarkhi followers demonstrated in Baghdad simultaneously with demonstrations in the provinces of Najaf, Karbala, Babil, Diwaniyah, Al Muthanna, Dhi Qar, Maysan and Basra, carrying banners condemning the lack of services." |
