France to export animals to Kurdistan Region

ERBIL, July 28 (AKnews) –
France’s General Consul to the Kurdistan Region Frederic Tissot discussed with the region's Minster of Agriculture and Water Resources Sirwan Baban the export of animals to the region.

Baban welcomed Tissot in his office, according to a statement from the Kurdistan Regional Government.
Baban said the region is obliged by World Organisation for Animal Health’s instructions and all exported animals will be subject to the organization and the Iraqi Ministry of Agriculture’s regulations.
France is one of the advanced countries that export meat on a global level.
The consul invited Baban to attend France's international exhibition for animal technologies from December 3 to 5 in Clermont.
Some 80,000 experts and professionals are expected to participate in the event.
