Chemical bomb in Halabja found

The Association for victims of chemical attacks in Halabja announced on Thursday finding an unexploded chemical bomb one of the houses ​​in (Mirza Bhutto) neighborhood in Halabja city of Sulaymaniyah province of Kurdistan.

The official site of the Interior Ministry in Kurdistan Regional Government briefed by "Shafaq News", quoted that “the Vice-President of Aras Abed association said that "the association had received news of the presence of an unexploded chemical bomb type napalm ​​inside the house of one of the citizens return back to 1988 ".

"The citizens demanded the relevant authorities to help him to demolish the house and remove the unexploded bomb for fear of causing loss of the lives and property of citizens."

"Our association contacted the Mine Foundation and it is scheduled to visit the place and address the situation,” Abed added.

It is worth mentioning that this is not the first time that bombs, rockets and unexploded explosives ​​carrying chemicals materials have been found in Halabja city that goes back to 1988 when the former regime had bombed the city with these banned weapons internationally in 16 of March, leaving more than five thousand people dead and about 20 thousand infected, many of them still suffer from the effects of these deadly weapons.
