Trade licenses to be written in Kurdish for first time

ERBIL, August 9 (AKnews) – Import and export trade licenses are to be written in both Kurdish and Arabic from now on, said the Kurdistan Region's Ministry of Trade and Industry.

General director Aziz Ibrahim said: "The region's Ministry of Trade and Industry decided to implement the instruction of Iraq's Ministry of Trade regarding granting licenses."
The new licenses will be valid in the rest of Iraq's crossing points, according to Ibrahim.
Iraq’s Trade Minister Kheirullah Hassan said: “Unified instructions between the Kurdistan Region and rest of Iraq will benefit the movement of trade in the country."
