Cool Anyone Familiar With Antiqes From Ebay?

Antiqes has a 99.6% positive rating- and his price is very good. He is offering 7.5million dinar for $6125.00. That comes out to $816.00 per mil.

    Anyone purchased from Antiqes??????

    Thanks for the help!

Welcome CAP!! - what does CAP stand for ? Cheese and Packers??
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I'm so funny today!

I've seen the Antiqes name - but haven't ordered. 99.6 can still have alot of negatives - make sure to check the feedback to make sure RECENT feedback is good.

YEs, I purchased my first million from him!!! If you look on his feedback, mine is Summersman19! I only ordered 1 million that time, but he got it to me very quickly!!! His only problem is that he is a little unorganized!

    Post One good, one pending

I've ordered from him twice, both times for that exact same 7.5 million dinars you were mentioning. He even paid for my wire transfer fee. I wired the money on Friday, which I'm sure he received Sunday. That same day, the dinars were in the mail via Fedex which arrived at my house on Tuesday. So in four days, all those lovely dinars were in my hot little hands. I've verified every bill I have for all the correct security features and I have to give it all a thumbs up.

I currently have yet another order with him for another 7.5 million, done fully by email, bypassing eBay. So I got a somewhat better price since he avoids the eBay transaction fees, translating to $800/dinar, and got a mixed bag of currencies in 10K and 5K bills (500 of each) plus the souvenirs I mentioned in another thread. I wired the money to him yesterday. We'll see how it goes. He said he was going to send it via some company called EMS. He also mentioned another shipping company called TNT, neither of which I've ever heard of before. He seems pretty reliable, but I'll update you all when the dinars arrive.

Anyone ever heard of those two shipping companies before?

Oh, and he's very quick with email questions and responses, sometimes within minutes of my sending an email.

Thanks for the feedback! Sounds like we have a winner. Think I'll add 7.5 mil to the portfolio! Dig another hole in the backyard for those mason jars....

I buy from him all the time, through e-mail only now-but originaally on E-bay.
I have had 4 shipments with no trouble so far.
This last shipment he sent via USPS because of Fed Ex trouble.
Packages were sent on July 22 and 23. So I am anxious to see what the delivery times are on those. Otherwise he is a fine dude to do business with, answers e-mails and ships fast. Great price too.

    Dinarbull,

Thanks for the input. Me thinks about 18 million will suffice for the time being. Intoxicated with dinar! And ready to wait.....

I am currently using Gaith, and he has been excellent so far! I got one of my packages stuck in Dubai with the fedex problems, and he has been excellent in communication and help in getting that matter resolved! I would definetly suggest him!!!

    Post Almost on its way!

Here's my current update on my order for 7.5 million from antiqes. He's received my money and will be sending 3 packages out with my order. Here's to hoping they get here shortly.

Y'all need to hear of my experince with Antiqes, and all told I have to say he's alright. It's been said he's a little unorganized, but I'd go so far as to say he aint the sharpest tack in the box. He is a busy man who is indeeed very attentive to his emails (I should interject I have only dealt with him in a private sale, independent of ebay) as has been noted. Both during the sale end of negotiations, and then during the fullfillment end of things, perhaps even better during the latter. He is an honest businessman, to be sure all, and will perform as promised. I did have a problem I'll share.

I told a friend about this, and he also contacted the man. In this hick town I'm sure that's the sum total of inquiries he's recieved from here. I placed the order, but I learned while tracking the shipment, because of a gate hold at Heathrow, that the shipment was addressed to my friend...! Antiqes was able to finally comprehend that he had made a mistake, and he was amenable enough to calling TNT on my behalf to rectify the matter. Given the time zone difference, and the time that all went down, I had my friend call TNT to make the shipping addy change. They will permit the sender or the recipient to make that change to their information. I informed Antiqes the next day that we had been able to take care of the matter at this end. The rest of this cluster<expletive deleted> is no reflection on Antiqes, but bears mentioning.

I recieved my Dinar today, exactly as we had negotiated, and just as pretty as any of the pics y'all have seen. Only thing is is by 2 pm I had seen no delivery, and the TNT tracking page showed an attemted delivery here and nobody home this morning. I was here all morning! A phone call confirmed it - they still had the correct changed delivery address, my correct phone number, and they told me they would contact the local carrier, DHL, to arrange a re-deliver and they would call me back to confirm... A half hour later my buddy stopped by with my two packages! They had left them at his address in the morning without a signatory!

Antiqes is indeed very attentive to all communications, but be very definitive in your communications with him. He is truly an honest businessman, imho, and I think he's spread a little thin with the volume of correspondence he's recieving.

    Nathan,

Antiqes is going to be mailing my 3 packages tomorrow. He said that he would use EMS and TNT (why both, I don't know, but perhaps he actually meant one since his English is decent, but not great). Your packages were sent via TNT. What is TNT's website for tracking packages? I've never heard of EMS nor TNT shipping companies, so I've been web searching for them to no avail. I figure neither company is American, so they would transfer the packages to American companies.

I think I figured out EMS is a German company that eventually routes to USPS, but I'm not certain. Am I reading your post correctly that TNT is using DHL locally? Any more information about those companies would be appreciated.

I'm not positive, but I think these are the Cos that took over for former Sabre Air Freight. They will, more than likely, transfer you shipment to DHL or even USPS. Good luck. It might be a good idea to contact Antiqes and ask about their track record thus far. Things are tightening up more and more. I know of some one that had a shipment sent via USPS last week. Upon inquiring about the whereabouts of his shipment (5 million NID), he was advised, via e-mail, that "Postal Authorities would soon contact him". At this point he is just nervous. Do the homework, get some answers and then make the purchase. Not quite "buyer beware" yet, but deserves caution for sure.

RogerL, the TNT website is http://www.tnt.com/country/en_corporate.html - that's the re-direct I get from www.tnt.com - you select a country from there and you can track away. I selected Jordan at first, as that was the originating country, but you can follow your tracking number from either country - if you select USA you will get their 800 number here on their page as well. TNT I believe is a British company, but I am no authoritative source; the addy change done for me originated in Houston, TX. I see them here in the northeast, but only the 18 wheelers... They have no local delivery presence as does Fedex and UPS. I was informed of DHL doing the local deliveries in response to the queries I made about my delivery problem.

Thanks! How long do you think your delivery would have taken if you hadn't had those problems?

I guess those wonderful days of those two-day Fedex deliveries are gone. :(

huh? Did you bid on an auction eddie? if you did, only send money via the info ON THAT AUCTION. As you can see, there are at LEAST three very similar names on ebay like this. If you already bid on an auction, contact the seller. Also, looks like most people on this thread have been dealing with antiqes. Not antiquesgaith. They are NOT the same.
