I have been following this story ever since CNN featured it today.
Is this Good or Bad for the U.S.-Iraq relations?

There's a saying keep your friends close, but your enemy closer
I see that if Iraq seeks help from Iran, maybe Iran's president will see to it that Iran quit suppling weapons, and quit allowing their people in Iraq to cause problems.
Iran will want to be in with Iraq, think they have close ties for Iraq's wealth and oil.
Each country could be using the other, to benifit themselves.

They plan on being real close. They just struck a deal to pump oil together. Including Syria and kuwait
