I'm convinced and so I've put my money where my mouth is.

Just made my 1st purchase from you. Thank you for setting this up to support
this forum. I have to say your purchase setup is smooth and it went thru
without a hitch. Once I receive my Dinars from you, I'll post how everything
went. I think it's important for people to know how well this all goes.
It cost me $15 more to purchase from Amer, but in the effort to make things
equal, I have no complaints over the cost. The shipping being included was
definitely a selling factor. Plus the fact we are supporting the forum at what
I believe IS a competive price, I have no complaints about the price.

Now if I could just get my Iraq Bank account setup. *grumble*
I can't seem to get a response from any of the banks so far.

So again, thanks Amer for setting this up for us.
I'm looking forward to receiving my Dinars.

Sorry in advance if this bothers anyone. It just seems important to let others
thinking of buying from Amer, just how well the process goes.

This forum has been helpful to me and allowed me the opportunity to express
my own opinions. I like the idea of supporting the forum in this fashion.

As things progress with my order & experience, this can help others decide
if they want to use Amer. To me, there's a much higher level of accountability
by using Amer and being able to report how things go. That's not something
you'll get with another vendor.

I chose Amer over another vendor though my cost was $15.98 higher.
The other vendor was registered and accepts credit cards but I only get
the dinar at the end. This way is a lot more enjoyable and more comfortable.

Stay tuned for the next episode which will likely take a while since now
we have to wait for the arrival of our notes.

Hey people, I just read a brand new book on the dinar called "The New Iraqi Dinar Investment Guide." I don't think it's been released to the public yet, but I was told it will be available in a couple of weeks. I was able to get a copy from a friend who was offered a promotional copy because he is a dealer.

This book is great! And more important, it doesn't paint an inaccurate view of the investment potential. Instead the author shows the risks and rewards, discusses the oil shortage, the insurgents, how to buy at the exchange rate, how to set up a brokerage account to buy stocks in the Iraqi stock exchange and so much more. This is the first professionally written material I have seen on this topic and I highly recommend it. You should check Amazon for it in a couple of weeks.

My friend is planning to buy a boatload to resell and was given a big discount from the publisher. Anyway, this book should do a lot to generate even more excitement about the dinar and more important, bring in more educated investors (the ones with the big money), all of which should be great for you dealers. Go dinar!

Ok new news.

My credit card company refused &/!&!$)¿"@# the charge and in fact
actually put a complete hold on my account. They did NOT contact me
about this. I only found out because Amer sent me a decent and polite
email saying my card had been refused.

So I called my CC all in a ruckus and though they claimed to have contacted
me which didn't happen, they opened my Cc account back up.

The problem was/is that Amer's account that accepts the $ is in Jordan.

Amer very nicely even emailed me and confirmed this and that he ships
the dinars from Jordan and that this happens sometimes.
So Amer was cool about the whole thing.

So end result: My order got screwed up by the credit card company.

My CC company was in their view protecting me.
So can't really be angry with them.
Absolutely can NOT fault Amer who was open, polite and upfront with me.

Am still just a little miffed my CC company screwed up the order without
even saying anything to me.

So anyone else ordering from Amer might want to inform their CC company
before they order that they are placing the order and the amount etc.

So am back to square one and starting over.

One interesting thing that came up after my purchase from Amer was a year's
extension on membership. My guess is that's a higher level of membership
than I currently have because the link to accept it didn't work.

I got a note saying something like it didn't apply to me.

Is there a moderator out there that can assist me with understanding this?

I am in the U.S. I bought my Dinar before I found the IIF. I was told by my supplier that it was not a limit on how much you can buy, or a customes thing but a Fed-X thing. Its been awhile so I cannot remeber if it was due to insurance, bulk packaging, I am not sure. My husband remebers things like that. To me it is what it is so I ship in the increments that my supplier is comfortable with. I am all for buying Dinar from Amer just to support the IIF.
I have read one some other threads good response from others working withn Amer.

My progress is I bought $25k notes from a vendor here in the U.S.
for just a few bucks less per million since I wanted them right away.
Otherwise I would've followed thru and re-ordered with Amer.

I was away on business the beginning of this week, so I'm just getting
around to getting my AL-Warka account set up as well which was more
of a priority. So getting some dinars in hand was something I wanted
to have put behind me. I still plan to order some $10k notes from Amer
if the prices stays the same. This next time though, I WILL call my CC
company first and let them know the charge is coming and not to get
overly excited. I still want to support the forum as well.

Next time, I'll just ask Amer how I do the membership thing or look back
in this thread. Perhaps Amer will include a note in the future so we know
what to do with the membership number bit.

I appreciate this forum especially since I'm not really seeing
flaming or other such nonsense. It's nice to visit and discuss something
in a positive way.

Have been shopping around the net for good prices. Amer Kawar still offers the best price so far. The flexible shopping card allows order for combination of 0.5 million dinars in $5000 notes and 0.5 million dinars in $10000 notes from Amer. Appreciate the free shipping. Thanks!

Happy to report they arrived and I avoided trying to smuggle them out of the country.
Now if I could just get the wife to take time to verify them as real, I'd be happy.
Oh, I'm sure they're real, but she needs to do her part too.

I would be patient if you received a first response from Amer
since he ships from Jordan and there's some wait time there.

Heck I ordered a couple million over a week ago from a registered U.S.
dealer and just a few days ago they charged my CC.

I still haven't gotten a tracking #, but no worries since my CC gives me
good protection if for some reason they are not delivered.

Amer has been really great with me.

I have made two orders from this site. The first one was a tad slow because of the weight of the package that I ordered! I did not think about the weight factor when I ordered such a large blocks of wood, they weigh more! Dah! Was a blondie once!

Ordered on the site, like it says above! Received an E-mail acknowledgement from Amer and when I questioned him, he fielded all my questions professionally!

The order number was sent to me and I challenged the order to see where it went and how it travelled; I am sort of part of those that support Customs, HLS, and other federal agencies. The order traveled out of the ME to our Northern Customs location. It stayed there for three days, why, I will be asking about this at my next seminar, who know, maybe they were playing cards or something. My thought is that there are so many packages coming into the USA that it just takes time!

Next thing you know I receive a card telling me to come to the USPO to sign for the package, it was heavy too. But I have it in the safe and I am going to be ordering more, right up to the time we receive the "good news", the RV news!
