    Citi Group is moving into Iraq to service the oil companies it already does business with. At the same time HSBC bank is pulling out of the country.

    More importantly foreign investment is directly connected to the security situation in Iraq. It was only after the civil war ended that investment started taking off. If security continues to deteriorate as it is now, you can expect investment to start to decline.
