    1. Our Service fee is $75.00 to certify any legal document.
We charge $35.00 for each additional document.
    2. Notary public and court fee. {$5.00}each
    3. Secretary of State fee . {$5.00} each
    4. Department of State fee . {$7.00}each
    5. Chamber of Commerce certification fee {30.00}each
    6. Embassy of Iraq fee {160.00}each

How much was your money order? What is the Embassy of Iraq fee and is that $160 usd? Thanks for your help.

I paid $156 because I had 2 copies made ( One as a backup). I have another investment in Iraq that will probably need the same information (or maybe not)

    Lux, My point is this:
    1- ID Card
    2- Valid Passport
3- Complete Address, Email and Telephone No.
    4- Three Signature Copies.

This is all that is required to get our shares and to trade on the ISX.
So all the embassy is doing is just verifying it is you, they stamp it and you scan it and email to Warka.
SO WHY are steps are steps 1, 2 and 3 needed? You would think that only the fourth step is needed because it is pointless for the other stuff because if they already trust your local stamp Notary as proof of who you are, then why do they need the rest?

And if this is just for the embassy to sign off on, then is a scan of just the original needed for Warka and not the additional stuff they sent DT?

    1. Re-Notarize at the Circuit Court in Maryland ($5.00)
    2. Have it certified by the Secretary of State of Maryland ($5.00)
    3. Have it certified by the US Department of State ($7.00)

    4. Have it certified by the Embassy of Iraq ($5.00 + $1.00 for money order)

    Default ISX Requirements For Foreigners - Q & A (U.S. ONLY)

PLEASE GO TO THE ISX FAQs FOR THE MOST UP TO DATE INFORMATION ON HOW TO MEET THE ISX REQUIREMENTS FOR FOREIGNERS (by clicking on this link).

Once the ISX officially opens to foreigners, you must meet the ISX requirement (as posted above by Lance in the letter from Warka and the link to the ISX) if you wish to purchase stocks in the ISX.

Warka will keep their proxy company open until you transfer your shares into your name. They will advise how long, but at this point it is indefinitely open.

Please post your questions, but only after you have read the ISX FAQs page. The process is simple and clearly stated in two separate step by step process. One is FAST. The other is SLOW. Choose the one that is best for you.

He is following this process, He simply used the AACC to do it.

As the document goes through the process, they add certification documents. That is what DT is referring to. He started with one, and they added three. They are all staple together and MUST NOT SEPARATED.

Please refer to the ISX FAQs page to better understand the process. This is why it was set up. Threads are discussions and we are going to have this one closed for the sake of clarity.

The four that I received back are secured with a gromet , not a staple, if you remove it, there is NO way to put it back the way it was.

Thanks for the clarification on the staple.

The fact is all documents must be kept together as one document.

Well this is good and should help to insure security and integrity of the ISX.
This should help aid in the clarity.

Wondering if someone can clear this up. Some of us my have the same confusion. I understand a total of $98.00 money order is required, but when I make a copy of ID and Passport on a separate sheet of paper. Do I have to include (there is a charge of $35 for each additional documents) for the second sheet that has the copy of the ID and Passport???

Just would like to make sure a legal size paper would be a standard white sheet 8.5x11 in size???

    Thanks

YES you will need to send an additional $35.00 for each document.
    LEGAL SIZE IS 8.5x14.
If you lay it out right it will all fit on ONE SHEET.

They need the document within 15 days of it being certified right? But as I understand it, it's not legal for foreigners to buy shares yet. So what if you send it off to them now but it doesn't become legal for foreigners to invest for a few more months. Will the document still be valid.

tstar, did yours have the other 3 pieces of paper with tamper proof seals on them attached to the original photocopied print of the passport and ID like the one's that DT received from the Arab Chamber of Commerce in Maryland? And if so were they tied together with a special Grommet like DT's?
