Hmmm. looks like the Middle East might become irrelevant in the next 30-40 years.

Don't forget governments across the globe get billions from taxes on oil (us is way less than uk eu) they will NOT let that revenue disappear into the sunset!

Not saying this will not be allowed...............just it will have to be introduced with the governments not losing revenue.

True, there will be a fight with government regulations, environmentalists that favor carbon taxes and farmers that collect subsidies. However it is still a game changer as it produces cheap energy, is carbon negative and will increase food supplies. Best is that at present it is a private company in a free market so for a while they can proceed at their own innovation. Expect that oil companies will continue to be heavily invested in this company. Sometime in the next few years when all systems are a go they will go public with a stock offering. Don't miss it!!!

I would actually drive a tesla, saw one in a miami showroom and it looked gorgeous. I'm just a little suspect of your 15 year timeline. One thing I've learned is that change in this world never happens as quickly as we think it will.

The timeline may be longer as many will fight it for political purposes. However just like ethanol we will wake up one morning and find out its in every gallon of regular we buy. This is very good for countries that don't have any oil reserves and are too poor to import oil. Its a fast changing world and while it may not seem like it there are less poor every day.
