Everything will be the same, you just won't have all the discussion on the same forum. Yes you will be able to comment on all threads everywhere.

InvestorsVietnam will be about investing in Vietnam (dong, stock exchange, etc).

The other forum will be a mix of off topic conversations like we have in the Social Scene.

Current threads on the other forums will be visible on the main page of IIF and you will be able to easily click over to those threads.

The benefit of this is to:

• show only Iraqi related posts on IIF New Posts (for those who only want Iraqi related topics)
• show all current threads for all forums on the main page (for those who want to see everything)

With these changes, everyone gets what they want and access is seamless. Profiles will be shared across all forums so there will be no need to create multiple accounts.

This will also give us a chance to expand to more forums (if members like) without over saturating one particular forum.

Actually, it is broke. Remember the problems we've experienced in the past accessing the site. Remember when we had to limit the search function to once every 180 seconds.

Many of the server issues we have had in the past are related to the current configuration. When this forum hits peak traffic, it slows to a crawl. We have circumvented some of these issues through temporary solutions, but we need to embark on long term solutions. The forum continues to grow at overwhelming rates and the posting volumes have quadrupled over the past year. We cannot afford to continue to increase server capacity without charging members. We never want to charge members for access to this site so we have sought a more viable solution that will have little to no impact on the user experience while also planning for further growth.

So as you can see, this isn't a matter of preference, it's a matter of need. We always think of our members first and these changes are being made to improve the user experience while addressing the growth of the community.

I'm with Can't get Right. Would love the option to chat, if it's possible. When I try to log in it tells me incorrect user name and password.

I am an investor in the dinar and I have been reading here for a very long time but I remember when I could not get on the site. Thank your for fixing that. Will there be more forums on the new site. It would be good to have more investing forums for other topics. Keep up the good work and I look forward to any improvements.

I Joined this forum to read about Iraq and all things related to it.

My Dear Cousin is GAY....

The thing that isnt so good, I told someone to look at IIF,

They have the approriate categories for them, so deleting some wouldn't be right. Who's to decide if your subject is worth posting or not. What they're going to do is moving the "other than Dinar related" topics to another site, then you shouldn't see these extracuricular topics here.

Sorry, But somebodys Gay Cousin was the last pic for me.

There are many Gay forums around the world this would have got a much better responce and probably a much more in depth insight to this guys problem. NO.

My simple point is, I send people to check out this forum, and the first thing they get to see is a topic about a Gay Cousin, Not right to me.

I see your point. I was merely pointing out that this person asked a religious question in the religious section, a section which is now here. They did nothing wrong. The idea to delete that question would be wrong. Admin's idea to move such topics to another site is the best way to aleviate the problem you have with your friends seeing that title here.

I just thought about an idea of having an option in the private profile to get a message from the administrator or a trusted member via IIF to our profile registerd email in case of true progress (FIL, HCL, RV)
Thus, creating less traffic from people checking 10 times a day if there is any really huge change.

I know it wont solve much, but it would make many members here happy (like me...)

Another idea,
To bring the buttons (or at least the "Today's Posts") Also at the bottom of the page, cuz when we finish to read we just want to click for new posts instead of scrolling all the way back up.

No need just go back to top of page and click on the Big Blue Box with IIF in it. takes you to where your talking about. But depends on your server for speed,

Bear I agree 100%...re-direct those thread that does not pertain to Dinar or Dong. I don't want to read or see space taken up on the forum for topics that does not pertain to the investment. JMO
