I'm curious to know if anyone has actually overnighted their Dinars to be deposited into an Iraqi bank account? And if so, was the transaction completed smoothly? I realize that this would be very risky, but I'm wondering if a brave few have tried?

Yes, Dinar time did not long ago. Ask he or he/she about it and you will get a more detailed answer. If it gets there, which there should be no problems doing so; R is very trustworthy and will deposit it into your account.Originally Posted by mightybri72
I never had yet, Aunt Gwennie asked me how long FedEx took to Iraq, I've sent my stock selections by FedEx.Originally Posted by Templecityboy

I'm still doing it the "old fashioned way" ........Bank Wire
I finally received my bank account numbers (thank you Chaka for the help). I am planning to get a one thousand dollar money order from Western Union (sixty nine cents), and send it Federal Express to Warka bank. This seems like it would be cheaper, and faster than a wire transfer. Has anyone else tried this before? Seems like it should work, and it would be better than sending cash (dinars). What do others think about this approach?
I just recieved my account numbers today and i too want to thank chaka for all your help... I find sending western union to be risky ..but others post ive read on here said they were gonna take the plunge i do remember some saying it was succcesful and that Mrs R took care of them.... But i do have one question for you all.. HAS ANYONE HEARD OF A MRS. FARAH FROM ALWARKA. I got my letter with account numbers from her and not miss R. Looked on Alwarka website under contact and do not see this womans title nor email adress??
Is she a legit represenitive from Al-warka???...only asking cause it took 20 days to recieve account numbers...and to get those numbers in the first place wasnt the most secure thing to do.. Just want to make sure before i send a bank wire that im really sending to my account and not someone who hijacked my email and now sent me some bogus numbers to deposit in their account. the whole letter seemed legit and im excited but just want to make sure. Don't have the address, but here is their website. Might find it there. Otherwise, I guess someone will need to PM you the address, don't think Moderators want it posted on forum for security reasons.Originally Posted by looking to retire at 28

I received my information yesterday, also from Miss F. I assume that Miss R is finally getting some help with new accounts. Does anyone have any additional information to help verify this new contact person?

I have not sent any funds yet, so I cannot answer this.
When you requested for account numbers, did you request to open a savings or current account?Originally Posted by buck74

savings account
Thanks!!! just wanted to make sure I requested the correct account. Wasn't sure due to the long, and understanding, turn around.Originally Posted by buck74
Going by everyones response, I just need to be patient and wait for them to get to it.
:D
I know it doesn't exactly pertain to the question BUT, when I was still "in country" I FedExed some of my dinars home (successfully). Before leaving I suggested FedEx to some coworkers and found out that their dinars were seized at a FedEx location in Kuwait or U.A.E.![]()
I just received confirmation of dollars transferred to Dinar account today! It took 9 days, so patience is the key. Not to worry folks.Originally Posted by Spinach Muncher
