He probably realises that things might just get a little worse now that Nicolas Sarcozy and the boys are siding with the US once again. It's about time that the US received proper support from Europe.

French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner says the world should prepare for war over Iran's nuclear programme.

"We have to prepare for the worst, and the worst is war," Mr Kouchner said in an interview on French TV and radio.

If the current Iranian regime wants to talk, it's obviously finally dawned on them that they're losing.

....either that, or it's a load of propaganda: yet more words to buy them time whilst they figure out how to construct a nuke.

All countries of the "free world" MUST team up against IRAN. We must EXPEDITE Irans IMPLOSION NOW !!! No military force will be needed - if a COLLECTIVE agenda is launched. Iran only wants to talk to further its nuclear agenda (stall tactic). There is no constructive WIN-WIN with Iran. Irans leader is a brilliant tactician that should NOT BE UNDERESTIMATED.

A warning by France's foreign minister that the world should prepare for war over Iran's nuclear programme has drawn a furious response in Iranian media.

France was aping the US and its new president had "taken on American skin", the official Iranian news agency said.

Iran has no intention with making "peace" with the "Great Satan" If Im not mistaken THOSE are the words they use referencing to the United States right?

They now have Russia's backing along with Syria, Egypt,N. Korea,Jordan and Pakistan. You be the judge, do you really think they want to negotiate? It's a stall tactic.. Sure hope the dem's recognize this

Gimmee a break! The French saying that the world should prepare for war really scares me. If I'm a raghead am I going to quake in my burka over something the French say? Oh Blutarski, "I am so scared."

Let's see what their record looks like shall we? They got slaughtered in WWI. Count that as a win but it sure did make the Germans really angry at them over that Versailles thing. So say they are 1-0 with an asterisk. They surrendered half their country at the opening bell of WW-II. This after building the "Great Wall of France" which was over flown in a matter of minutes by the Luftwaffe - so that's a loss and they are now even up at 1-1*. There's that damned asterisk again. They saved their artwork and wine by hiding it in caves - that's a plus. They openly sympathized with the Bosch and collaborated more than any people who consider themselves a "free nation" should. Their woman had more personal pedestrian incursions than the Bekka Valley had on a good day. They did give the German's their money's worth south of the Loire River but we had to help them. They have gotten their pasty while asses run out of almost every African nation they attempted to colonized, lost the war in Indochina (OK so did we) crapped all over us for GW-1 and GW-2, would not let our planes overfly their country when trying to stop Sadaam from seizing Kuwait and now they want to urge the would to prepare for war. Come on Claude, you French look at fighting for your country like you do bathing – you don’t.

Who the hell listens to the French anyway? On the other hand, it is nice to see that they may not be possessed by the Dark Side, or perhaps it's because they are so fed up with the dark side beginning to control major population centers that they have begun to see the light.

You think we have a bad immigration problem in this country? Look at what is happening all over Europe with the influx of people of Muslim extraction. England, France, Germany and even southern Italy all have issues with the fine People of Islam. At least the Mexicans & South Americans that come to the US do so armed with a strong work ethic and are not strapped into the cockpit of a 757 trying to figure out which building to land the damn thing on or in.

Let's hear it for the French................................Vive la revolution!

You are exacty right. Further, we should demand, and I mean demand, that all free world countries, including all middle east countries considered allies, join in the effort to eliminate the current Iranian regime and give those good people of Iran a chance at real freedom and democracy.

I think he is realizing that to continue to anger the U.S. will cut him out of millions of dollars at the negotiating table. then his only alternative is to push us to the point of attacking Iran, at which time we will pour millions into re-building. Either way he will win.
