Default My nephew is branded a hero!!!!!

My Newphew (Aaron Vance) is in the field as I type this letter of grattitude for him and all the armed forces in Iraq. I am very proud of his accomplishments and am posting a link to an article written on June 2nd that describes his act of heroism as he was the only one called from his unit to climb down a hole one and a half feet wide to inspect and hand out a hord of weapons and triggering devices found under the floor of a home in mosul.

Hope you enjoy the read. http://rochsent.com/files/wilsoniraq8.html

    Default God Bless

I spent time at Diamondback and Marez last year when i was providing convoy security for the Army. Mosul is a tough place. I wish nothing but the best for your nephew and everyone else still there. God Bless everyone of them.

There is no such thing as a wrong place for something like this. God bless our troops.

Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand.

    Default That's American made steel!

Tell your nephew there's at least one Marine in the world that salutes him. He should get a smile from that. And make sure he lets Sgt. Chandler know we appreciate the grit he displays as well. The mark of a true leader is one who will get right in the middle, and stay until the job is done.

"Greater love hath no man than one who would lay down his life for his friends". Jesus Christ

"Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference. The Marines don't have that problem". President Ronald Reagan-1985

"While I may not gain the favor of men, I shall fly my colors, with righteous indignation". Me
