Default Iraqi Dinar Vs Vietnamese Dong

    Folks quick question.
I know this is IQD forum. But I have read an article which talks about Vietnamese DONG as one the hottest investments as well.
    it is trading at $1 = 15, 000 DONGS?
Since it is 15000 DONGS to a US$1, does it mean that the possibility to make a even larger return on investment.
VIET, has Oil and Gas also...
    Pls Discuss....

Vietnam has some oil, nothing like Iraq of course. Sure in about 30 years could be like South Korea. By the way, what does a Dong look like?

    Default Sick Ding??

My visual inspection of the Dong found it to be of a reddish tinge accompanied by an off white, almost yellowish coloration. It was not the "normal" color or "appearance" that I have come to generally expect when looking at the Dong. In my opinion, that Dong looks a little sickly.

Some may have more experience, having seen a larger number of Dong than I have. So if, in your experience, you find that this Dong is of normal coloration and appearance.....please feel free to comment. :lmao:

Well, I am no expert on dongs, having only seen one before in my life. But I would have to agree with Jeffrey, that it does in fact look rather sickly, and should probably seek medical attention.

    Question Try a currency trader

[QUOTE=logan]:i was also ready about qatar's money that it looks like it should go up as well does any one have any in site on this. :
Logan , Have you checked any foreign currency trading sites , I found one last week that allowed you to trade with $ 250 to start . They will answer any question on any currency . The site's were gaincapital.com or refco.com try one of them they both have a phone # ( gain's phone # is toll free )And ask them what they think about those different currencies. If it is too risky they will not trade them . :)

The NID and VND are long termers IMO. Vietnam has about $16B in external debt, 1.4B bbls in proven oil reserves, 188B cu M in proven gas reserves. Their growth was dropping in 96-99 but have been helped by the US-Vietnam Bilateral Trade Agreement of 2001. They grew 6-7% per year from 00-03 and are up about 7.3% for this year. Their exports to the US are supposed to grow over the coming years but may have been slowed due to the US economy. It might be worth getting some VND, but I'll stick with one currency at a time :D .
