Default Important Articles/Links About the Future of the Iraqi Economy

Same concept as the Important Articles link in the ISX Subforum, ok? So just use a little thought before posting an article in this thread. Try to make sure the article or link is very relevant and not a duplicate posting. :D

First one....of Major Importance to the recovery and resurgance of the Iraqi Economy and peripherally our Dinar investment, is the U.S. led-push to have 95% of Iraq's post-war debt, incurred under the Saddamn Hussein's reign, forgiven and written off.

A Daily Update/Archive of Articles Related to the Iraq Debt Forgiveness Movement.

Check it out, its collection of specific factual info on the subject is 2nd to none.

Do you think this is an actual reflection of the country as a whole. This is located within the Sunni triangle where the most resistance is coming from.

Likewise if that is the case that the country is a disaster, lets show some pics of southside Chicago, or possibly a burned out abortion clinic.........my god, The US is a complete disaster also!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I often wondered what the 6:00 news would sound like if we reported all of the shootings, rapes, kidnapping, CEO embezelement, etc. going on here in the US. It would have to be a two hour show, and other countries and investors would never invest in this country in turmoil!

This is true you kind of have to remember that Iraq is the size of california ,not the united states with a fith of iraq being populated.

Security a major obstacle for Iraq's economy
US will play key role in country's recovery for some time to come

Targeting of foreign contractors has undermined progress on reconstruction efforts, negatively impacted allocation of $186 billion relief fund..........
