On the 15th of July 2008, in co-operation with Hawlati library and Ranj printing-press, the Youth Activity Centre of Rania opened a book exhibition in the centre’s garden. A huge number of people visited the exhibition to buy books. The buyers were give %40 percent discount

On the 27th of June 2008, the Youth Activity Centre of Rania has opened an English language course for 110 youths in Rania.
The lessons are given by Rebwar Sabah, an English teacher, who divided the participants into three different levels. The first level takes Express Ways program in which 20 youths participate, the second level takes elementary Express Ways program in which 80 youth participate and third level take advanced Express Ways program in which 10 youth take part.
The course will last for two months.
