CBI decides to grant new facilities for foreign remittances and denies stopped (WHY?)

    Alsumaria News / Baghdad

decided the Iraqi Central Bank, on Thursday, offering new foreign remittances, denying reports that suspended or restricted. The central bank said in a statement, "Alsumaria News" received a copy of it, he decided to "offering new foreign remittances." He denied "Rumors about stopping those transfers or restricted." The Central Bank of Iraq was established independently as a bank under a law issued on the sixth of March 2004 as an independent body, which is responsible for maintaining price stability and the implementation of monetary policy, including exchange rate policies being sessions daily for buying and selling currencies.

My guess is money laundering along with the banks - while the CBI points a finger at all the others 3 fingers are pointing back at them. Iraq's banking program is a camel's breakfast - it was a clearing house for corrupt government to load their pockets. IMO - Also, now that I realize that the banks and the CBI are all in on the take - any money you had in Warka or invested in the ISX via Warka is long gone - you will never, ever see it again. Hold on to your IQD cash - it's your only form of redemption (if there is to be one).
