Aug 30, 2008........sorry if already posted???

Green Zone newspaper Al-Sabaah expects a visit from George Bush to Iraq in the coming days for SOFA negotiations according to the newspaper parliament source saying:

Bush may visit Iraq soon to discuss the security agreement between Iraq and the U.S., during his visit there will be a declaration that all controversial points are resolved.

I am not sure if the Americans or George Bush understand that the situation is out of Maliki’s hands, and they must negotiate with the supreme-clerics.

Here is Adel Abd Al-Mahdi after meeting Sistani confirmed that the supreme-cleric’s instructions is that a timetable for the withdrawal is a “must be” in the agreement.

Well now W.E. Really don't want to anyone get bombed and really want the 2nd to be TRUE!!! But I am think the 1st is true although he may not be speaking because he will be in Iraq signing the sofa making 2 of them true!!! Wishful thinking maybe but they have to get their butts in gear and get something actually signed pretty soon... oops there is that word again... Would be great to get the sofa signed and the rest can just follow suit and then we would all be sitting in a life that we are dreaming of right now....

Can't see him leaving country for Iraq with Gustav headed for a Cat 3 landfall within next 24 hours or so. I'm in Beaumont(SE TX) and have no plans to evacuate. It looks like we may get 40 mph winds, but are taking pets and going to neighbors tomorrow am. They have generator and we have stocked up on food and bottled water to last us several days if it comes to that.

May God be with all that are in this storm's direct path.

Bush will likely figure out whatever excuse is necessary (for the country of course), to stay away from the convention, because all republicans who seriously want to win know that his presence is poisonous.

Superstar Sarah's Duaghter is pregnant. she is 17 years old. What do we get from that. If she can't manage her home and her family, how can she manage the Nation if MaCain should suddenly demise. MaCain never vetted this woman before offering her the job.
With one special needs Child and one pregnant child, it will be very interesting to see if Mrs Palin chooses family over Party. MaCain never gets it.
