Arrow Important! Warka Stock Procedure

Since the new manager took over - this is how the process works
1. Submit order-
2. Warka fill what the can and that order is DONE
3. Warka send you details
4. If you want new stocks you must resubmit an order- which they notified some of you already this is the new way

Bottom line is Mr I said it was impossible to keep track of the partial orders while people were still sending in new requests

Honestly , this is a good method in my opinion. Cut and dry. Submit an order- heres what filled, Start over.

For all the parties sending in stock requests - heres a few reasons they arent being filled
1) THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH SHARES TO BUY- look at the daily volume of each stock
We're not ordering burgers in a drive-thru with food waiting for us to come- supply and demand.

2) STOCKS THAT ARE IN GENERAL ASSEMBLY MEETINGS ARENT TRADING-
- follow www.isx-iq.net regularly to learn who is entering these meetings
Dont request these stocks as they cannot be filled until trade resumes.

3) NO ONE IS OFFERING TO SELL THEIR SHARES FOR SOME COMPANIES
-obviously this will change from day to day

4) Multiple requests for same company-

Again if 5 people want Mosul Bank and only 3 contracts get filled. It may mean 2 people miss out on this session. SUPPLY NOT MEETING DEMAND

For whatever reason, Sending E-mails during bank hours seems to get the best results for response. Reminder Baghdad is 9 hours ahead of central time zone-adjust your time accordingly.

Just be persistant - and appreciate anything you can get now at these prices because once the flood gates open- now you will be competing with the masses and these prices will be distant memory.

In a strange way- the security struggle is benefiting ISXers with "long term vision". Iraqis with either no money or those who've moved funds elsewhere contribute to the low volume, BUT this will change and fast once ISX ready electronic.

Thanks Chaha. Good reminder to all to be patient and persistent. It may be happening slowly but over time the small amounts of stock DO accumulate.

for the post. You are right on the money. Things have gotten much better in the past few months with stock purchases. Ground floor opportunity for the ISX. Good luck to all.

Hey Wherbie,

When were your picks executed? Was it from yesterday's trading session? I sent a stock list over a week ago to be executed ASAP but I haven't yet gotten any confirmation that they received my list.

Hello, I'm not clear as to what I'm supposed to put where the above xxxxxx show up. On the (Mr. xxxxxx) part, do I simply put whoever is in charge of stocks at Warka, or do I put my own name instead?

Also from what number do you guys find out how much I would put in the (XXXXXX Iraqui Dinar) commission part?

Sorry guys I'm a newbie and I did not get those two parts, can you guys help me out here?

Well after reading it, I can say it is a little confusing, but it is your name that goes there.

On my form I have been sending for 5 months I don't mention approximately anything, I say the number of shares for each bank, co.,ECT... and that is it,they will do the addition, subtraction, ECT... No need to make it difficult, it's a very easy process.

Thank you so much guys for the help. Now I'll wait for next Wednesday at midnight (Pacific or Estern?) to request an account, and once that is done I'll wire fund and ask to buy stock.

I just hope my requests don't get lost in time somewhere, I really hope I can get in on all this asap...;)

Best of luck to all!

I noticed some of your posts. Is it possible to look at these stocks in your account online once you get set up?

wording here seems odd... can someone clarify and rephrase this for me?
