How To Get A Warka Investment Bank Online Account Access

Last updated: 3/19/2009

The online account access form below is only used in case Warka Investment Bank did not give you online access automatically, once funds were in your account. Currently there is an annual fee of 15,000 dinars for online account access and you will need to re-submit the form below yearly, but keep in mind the online access fee may change sometime in the future. So first contact Warka Investment Bank to get the latest fee and then fill out the request/consent form below accordingly. It may take up to a week or two to get your online account login details.

You can go to
Warka-Bank.com to download their form or simply use the more simple one that I posted below.

---> Below is the Online Account Access request/consent form that you will need to copy, paste, and print it out. You can download and print the online account access request form by clicking the attachment at the bottom of this post. Fill it and signed it. Now scan and save it as a JPG image or PDF file. Attach that JPG or PDF file into your online access request eMail and send it to e-Bank@Warka-Bank-Iq.com or
IFRD@Warka-Bank-Iq.com

Here’s an example eMail for a Warka Investment Bank Online Account Access request:

Hello,

Please note that attached to this eMail is an Online Account Access request/consent form to be applied to my Warka Investment Bank account.

Thank you,

If you don't have a scanner, please go to your nearest copy/printing shop and they can help you save it onto a disk:

Warka Investment Bank must provide (Your Name) with a User Name and Password that can be used to login and benefit from any and all of Warka Investment Bank online services. This authorization shall expire one year from the signed date below or upon written notice by the legal account owner named above.

NOTE: If you lose your password or it did not work to start with, or you had 3/4 invalid login tries into your account, your password will simply stop working. Should any of the previous problems occur, ask to have your password reset. It may take about a week or more to get your new password eMailed to you. You can contact IFRD@Warka-Bank-Iq.com regarding any personal and important online account issues.

None of the above is to be taken as financial or legal advice... - AAD

____________________________Important_____________ ________________
Whenever eMailing Warka Investment Bank for whatever important issue, do it around their business hours and preferably in the morning 8-11am Sun-Thurs Iraqi time. Never send them more than one email per day, just be patient for a response. Sometimes Warka Investment Bank may be very busy and what should normally take a few days, can take a week or more. If you also factor in any holidays in Iraq (and Germany if wiring funds) those can also delay the response process. Please don't drown them with eMails because this in the end will affect everyone's response time. Remember for common questions/tips you can always simply ask them here at the forum instead of eMailing Warka with non crucial questions. You can check the current Baghdad time before eMailing them:

Has anyone opened the online access part of their account? What benefits do you get with this option?

It allows you to check your balance or transfer funds between your USD/IQD accounts (might also be useful for seeing funds that went towards ISX purchases). It also helps with what is quoted below by TreasureHunter...

Here is what you have to do!

1. Have a Warka Account and get "ONLINE ACCOUNT ACCESS!"

2. Open a Bank account in your country at one of the bigger banks....one that uses the SWIFT system. I used Chase!

3. Get that banks SWIFT code! That is an "International Bank Identifier Code." A "BIC Code" or ABA# WILL NOT WORK! Been there...Done that....WASN'T GONNA HAPPEN! They are for"DOMESTIC USE ONLY!"

4. Log in to your Warka Online Account and access the tab in one of the dropdown menus at the left side of the page that says "AD EXTERNAL BENEFICIARY."

5. Enter the appropriate information...INCLUDING the SWIFT code you procured earlier.

6. Wait 3-4 days until you receive a message in your online inbox that your request was APPROVED!

7. ALSO! Set up both Warka accounts (IQD AND USD etc.) as "INTERNAL BENEFICIARIES." This can be done by accessing the "AD INTERNAL BENEFICIARIES" tab and submitting the appropriate information.

8. Wait for APPROVAL.

Now! You're Set!!! When The IQD or STOCKS go up and you wish to get some money transfered back to you state side......

DO THE FOLLOWING!!!

1. Transfer funds from you IQD account to your USD account (Or whatever currency you use) through the "INTERNAL TRANSFER" tab.

2. Transfer funds from your USD account at Warka to your USD account at, for example...CHASE...through the "EXTERNAL TRANSFER" tab.

3. Wait for the money to come rolling in! Of course transfer fees apply, which have been stated in another thread.

4. There is a tab to monitor the progress of your transfer on the Warka site also.

So! Some of us Do Have a CLUE........and NOW....So Do You!

Hope This Helps!!!

Just a quick question for those who have both USD and IQD accounts with Warka.

My online banking has only one account listed - (IQD) .
I opened the IQD account years ago when they didn't bother with USD account.
Is the account number the same for USD and IQD ( maybe a different ending #) ?
Does this show up as two different accounts in your Online Query ?

I am trying to establish a USD account for internal transfers.
I have emailed Warka, but who knows if and when they might get back to me.
Thanks for any help,
MEDSOUTH

Hi MEDSOUTH,

The USD account will be numbered differently (by a digit to facilitate any transfers within their online system for your account) then the IQD account, two accounts will show up (see the attached pic)...

Thanks AAD,
Looks like the difference in account numbers is IQD-001 USD-002
I need to set up that USD account in order to transfer $ home eventually.
I can probably set up my internal transfer with the 002 for the USD account.
Will try it and see what happens.
Thanks again

Says Restricted Account.
Guess I'll have to wait for Mr. I to get back with me to set up USD account.
Wonder how long this will take.

........D-Day Comes!.....RV at LAST!!!.......$3.20 USD to 1 IQD........Everyone is sending their dinar to Warka to cash in because the banks haven't sorted things out from all of the mayhem and received authorization to exchange the dinar yet...Or! They're exchanging it and taking an exorbitant amount in fees! People anxiously wait to receive notice from Warka that their Dinar was received and exchanged at the "going rate at that day"....but! due to the The much understaffed Warka being overwhelmed by all of the fedex packages of dinars showing up.....it takes several weeks to process all of the request. Then! When you finally receive your notification.....you find that the "going rate at that day" has drastically plummeted in the past few weeks since you sent in you dinars for exchange! And now instead of MILLIONS of dollars.....you just have thousands of dollars!!! You've still made a tidy sum on your initial investment....way more than you started with.....but now you will have to reconsider that Mansion in Dubai.........and maybe settle for a modular in Kentucky? And Then! To top it all off....You find out that your buddy......whom you told about the dinar......and that had bought a whole lot less than you......had thought ahead and got full online account access and set up all of his internal and external beneficiaries and was all ready to go when they announced the RV! Now! While you are taking a tour through Tom Raper RV......He's taking a tour around the world with his future ex wife, six kids....and two girlfriends! by this time you're probably thinkin'....Wife , 6 Kids & 2 GIRLFRIEND? Not Too SMART!? But!...He was PREPARED!!!
This might sound like a worst case scenario.......
But!!!
There will be some that their Dinar never makes it to Warka!!!

Is there any major benefits to having Warka online account access?
I Think So!

But that's JMO!

Is there anybody here having a problem getting access on-line with Warka Bank?

I'm here in Baghdad and I have an IQD and USD account with Warka Bank for a little while now. I got this account openned over the internet no problem, smooth like a silk. Now, I'm trying to have access on-line just like the banking system in the U.S. it seems like I'm not getting any response from Warka. I downloaded the on-line request form at the Warka Bank website, followed the whole procedures and it's been a month now not getting any action from Warka Bank.

has anyone transferred money out from Warka to a UK bank? I need to do this but can't seem to fathom what goes in the fields. I have added my USD account as internal beneficiary and transferred by IQD to USD successfully, but need to add my UK bank as an external beneficiary.

the fields are:

beneficiary name
beneficiary nickname
beneficiary account number
tel number 1
tel number 2
beneficiary address
bank name
branch name
swift code
country
city

I need to use Dresdner bank in there somewhere, but where do my Uk bank details go?

please help!

I believe Chase bank still does, but you can always double check and report back...

Good morning AAD,

I was under the impression that Mr. I had to assign some type of access code inorder for us to use the automated on-line wire home system. Is this not necessary anymore? I guess I will find out tomorrow as I will use treasurehunters system.

Thanks in advance, Steve

Good morning Mucho_Dinaro,

If I understood MoneyBagsSoon question right, I think he was talking about simply exchanging his physical IQD without the need of an Iraqi bank account should a RV occur. I think he can use Chase bank.

As far as your question, I do believe you yourself would have to assign a password (apart from your current online account login password). Please report back if otherwise...

15,000 dinar. They need a signed request scanned and emailed asking them to withdraw the funds for your on-line access. Same password.

I just recently followed the instructions you've listed to transfer funds
out of my warka acct back to my U.S. account...
(Thank you for writing these instructions down btw)

Unfortunately,...after setting up all my beneficiary data, under the
tab "E-Remittance", there are no further menus. No way to start the
actual transfer. I emailed Warka, and got a reply stating simply
that "function" is now available, and being replaced with a new
"function" would be posted soon....no word on how long that would
take. I don't like the idea of not being able to access and/or move
my money from my account.

Has anybody else enountered this?

Thanks for that info WilliamMunny, I would also like to hear from those that have recently transferred funds back to find out if the process has indeed changed and in need of updating...
